The “Yin-Yang” series reflects thoughts and experiences from my residency at the Dong ethnic minority intangible cultural heritage research and learning base.

Transitioning from the bustling city to a tranquil mountain village, the lives of those who dwell by the mountains seem to belong to another world.

In this alternate space-time, could the essence of things be the opposite of our perceptions?

Continuing the exploration of “symmetry” and “mirroring” from previous works, the “Yin-Yang” series employs a new visual language to reinterpret the transformations and relationships of time and space—representing the cycle of life and the traces left by time.
