The Fleeting Traces, 2024

The Fleeting Traces series is created using the camera-less photographic technique of lumen printing. As the images are unfixed, they continue to change over time with exposure to light. This ever-shifting quality echoes the traces I observed during my residency—ephemeral yet seemingly eternal.

These traces carry time and warmth. They are objects, habits, and placements left behind by people in the past. In the present, they remain still, holding the residual presence of human touch. Yet when the person returns, the position of the object changes, and the original scene dissolves.

Within the appearance of stability lies the uncertainty of time.
