Unfold Abyss is a pizza box site-specific installation that uses the pizza box as field, material and metaphor.

The act of folding and unfolding mirrors the opening of psychic folds — revealing what is hidden beneath consciousness.

When the box opens, it also opens a space of rupture between reality and the psychic.

Tensions emerge: fragmented self-awareness, facing the shadow, unreadable inner residues, and the failure of language.

The intervention of the image obscures the visual spiral of unreadable text. Mental and spiritual objects stretch between the visible and the invisible — like melted cheese binding two worlds.

When closed, it’s a pizza box — a container of matter, appetite, and survival: a proof of res extensa.
When opened, it becomes an abyss — a portal into res cogitans, where thought unravels, shadows rise, and the self begins to fragment.
